Bay of Islands

The Bay of Islands in the northern part of the North Island is our final destination in New Zealand. From our B&B in Paihia, we visit the delightful hamlet of Russell, just a 15 minute ferry ride across the bay. We also visit bird rescue sanctuary in. Kerikeri. One final night back in Auckland and we’ll be heading off to Tahiti. It’s been quite an adventure in this lush, friendly and diverse country so far away but in some ways so familiar. Kia Ora NZ.
