About Me

I’m Chris Hall, a Canadian-based photographer originally from Wales

My work focuses on travel, landscape, and the experience of place — from remote wilderness to densely populated cities. Through photography, I aim to capture not just how a place looks, but how it feels to be there.

With a background in IT and visual storytelling, I’ve spent years documenting journeys across multiple continents, often in challenging or isolated environments.

Philosophy

I’m drawn to places that feel distant — geographically or culturally.

Photography, for me, is less about perfection and more about presence: being in the right place, paying attention, and capturing something real.
