Skiathos

Skiathos is a different style of Greek island - much more lush. Renowned for its many beaches, we took a cruise on what looked like the SS Minnow from Gilligan’s Island. Sure enough, we ran into bad weather but the skipper turned around and headed to more sheltered beaches. It was a low-key, relaxed interlude in our trip after some demanding and somewhat overwhelming historical sites.
