Sardinia and Sicily

A long cruise across the Tyrrhenian Sea brought us to Sardinia and it’s capital, Cagliari. An all to brief stop there only allowed us the climb up to the Bastione di Saint Remy with beautiful views over the city. We were also able to take in the Tutankhamen exhibition which was showing at the nearby Passeggiata Coperta. Also, our time in Sardinia was way too short and then it was back across the sea to Trapani on the west coast of Sicily. We had spent a very enjoyable month in Sicily a few years back and so we took this opportunity for a relaxing day in town rather than hitting the sights.
