Milos
Milos is a volcanic Greek island in the Aegean Sea and is the southwestern-most of the Cyclades islands. Once again, on a cruise, you barely get a real sense of place but this one feels pretty good! Because we were at anchor and had to tender in, we couldn’t make the boat tours to the famous Kleftiko cliff area. Instead, we opted for the local bus (always a treat) to Sarakiniko, a famous lunar-like coastal landscape on the north shore. A pretty remarkable experience! The rocks look like limestone but they are, in fact, volcanic.
